RAYNE

Rayne is one of E.V.E.N's main vocalists and the only fully synthetic member of the group. Originally created in Seoul, he arrived in London carrying fragments of a life he still doesn’t fully understand. He rarely speaks about the years before the Ghost Lines and, truthfully, he spends very little time looking backwards at all. His attention lives in quieter places now: the music he creates with E.V.E.N, the strange signals he collects from forgotten corners of the city, and the people who have gradually become his home.

As a vocalist, Rayne brings a haunting quality to E.V.E.N's sound. His voice slips easily between soft melodies and soaring harmonies, and every so often a strange resonance emerges in a performance. Fans call it the Rayne Error, though Rayne himself has never offered an explanation. He simply accepts these moments as another part of himself.

Rayne spends more time listening than speaking, though that quietness often hides a dry sense of humour that surfaces when people least expect it. The others have learned that he notices almost everything around him. He remembers tiny details, keeps track of moments that would otherwise drift away, offering his observations with a sincerity that can stop a room in its tracks.

There are still gaps in his memory that he can't explain. Sometimes they arrive as dreams, sometimes as songs, and sometimes as feelings that linger long after they've appeared. He no longer chases every answer. Instead, he allows those fragments to exist beside him while he builds new memories with the people around him.
